September Releases!

Wow, September is a slow month for me. I am only looking forward to three books this month. I tell you, this is a nice change of pace from the last two months when I wanted over eight books. Now, I might actually be able to make a dent in my reading pile!

Alpha and Omega Series - Book 2

Mated to werewolf Charles Cornick, the son—and enforcer—of the leader of the North American werewolves, Anna Latham now knows how dangerous being a werewolf is, especially when a werewolf opposes Charles and his father is struck down. Charles's reputation makes him the prime suspect, and the penalty for the crime is execution. Now Anna and Charles must combine their talents to hunt down the real killer—or Charles will take the fall. Chapter One

WHO’D BEEN SLEEPING IN KASON RHODES’S BED? The left fielder for the Richmond Rogues had returned from six weeks of spring training in Florida to find someone had moved into his mobile home. That person was presently in his shower. And no matter how sexy the squatter might be, Kason wanted her out. He had his trusty dobie, Cimarron; he didn’t need anyone else in his life. Not even a stubborn tomboy who roused all kinds of wild reactions in him, then soothed his soul with peace offerings of home-cooked meals and kindness. The bad boy of baseball was ready to play hardball if need be, but with Dayne Sheridan firmly planted between his sheets, he found himself. . .SLIDING HOME Chapter One

USA Today bestselling author Jo Goodman delivers a thrilling tale of small town greed that may have big time consequences-unless two strangers open their hearts to a highly unconventional arrangement…

Rachel Bailey may seem like just a beautiful newcomer to most of Reidsville, Colorado, but Sheriff Wyatt Cooper knows she's much more. Through a twist of fate, Rachel is the inheritor of a very valuable commodity: control of the railway that keeps the isolated mining town connected to the world. That is, she will be, if she agrees to the surprising stipulation in her benefactor's will-that she marry Wyatt.

Rachel has no choice: refusing the marriage could put all of Reidsville in the hands of an outsider-and not just any outsider, but the cruel tyrant she has come here to escape. Yet living with Wyatt will be her greatest challenge. For he has a tempting way about him that makes Rachel forget theirs is a marriage in name only-until her frightening past shows up to remind them exactly how much they have at stake…

Only three!? I just finished reading HUNTING GROUND last night. I love Anna and Charles together.

I get so confused about release dates that border the last few days of the month. For example, HUNTING GROUND was released August 25. Why wouldn't that be August release? I have a few books on my wish list with a September 29 release date. Are those technically October releases? *confused*

I found Hunting Ground at Walmart. I pre-order most of my list this month, probably won't make it to an actual book store.... maybe. LOL!

LOL, that's it? Or you mean, just for the beginning of the month :) LOL, cos Kelley Armstrong has one coming out at the end of the month!!

Hunting Ground was great I think :D I'm really liking the Anna and Charles dynamics :D and yeah, I agree with Christine, this is an August release.

Hi Christine! LOL, yes technically Hunting Ground is an August release since it was released in August. I am like you confused on where I should post it. I decided to post it with the September releases since it's official release date was August 25. As for your September 29th release date, I technically think of it as an October release, but that is just me :) I say do what ever you are comfortable with. You and Nath can stick together!

Nath, LOL, I have Kelley Armstrong for next month! And yes I so can't wait for it! I am loving her. Are you going to read Sliding Home? I am looking forward to this one because it is just one romance :)

Anna, You are so organized. I wish I could be as on the ball as you. Alas, my TBR list is out of control and I am so behind. I probably won't get to Hunting Ground until the end of the month. *Sigh*

Mandi, Oooh sounds like it was good. I so can't wait to get the book. I just hope it is sooner than later!

September is all about An Echo in the Bone for me! Can't wait!

Jill, I tell myself every month that I'll be able to make a dent in my TBR that month because there's only a handful of books I want. And then at the end of the month...well, it still looks the same. Or worse...*sigh*

For September I'm waiting for Echo in the Bone and Frostbitten. They're being released on the same day - my poor wallet!!

LOL, yes, definitively getting Sliding Home. I just hope that I'll find it in the bookstore... They don't stock all of the Dorchester books, so it's luck of the draw :(

Marg and Patti - I can't believe I forgot about Echo in the Bone. I still haven't read A Breath of Snow and Ashes. A Fiery Cross just about did me in with Roger almost dying. I wasn't sure how much more I could take. Since Gabaldon's books aren't romance, anything goes. That means she could kill someone off and I don't know if I could take that. I'll be looking forward to hear what you though of it!

Amy - I know! It's the story of my life, me trying to whittle down the TBR. It just keeps growing leaps and bounds.

Nath - Oh good, maybe we could talk about it. I haven't bought it yet. I'll keep you posted.

Sure, if you want to :) LOL, I still don't have it yet, so don't rush :)
